Perfectly groomed slopes, fun family toboggan runs and snow-covered winter landscapes will characterise your holiday.

Skiing

Well-groomed slopes, sun and powder snow are the best ingredients for an unforgettable ski holiday. Families with children can make their first attempts at skiing at the small ski lift in Velturno, just 2 km from our house. Numerous huts are available for you to stop and recover your strength while enjoying the wonderful view of South Tyrol's mountain scenery with a hot punch, delicious local food or an apple strudel fresh from the oven.

Night tobogganing on floodlit runs and full moon tobogganing are also extremely popular.

Cross-country skiing in a glittering winter landscape not only ensures a good dose of full-body movement but also provides rest and helps you to recover your strength. Forests covered in deep snow and perfectly groomed trails invite you to take part in classic cross-country skiing or sledding adventures. The absolute must-visit locations include the Villandro alpine meadow, the Alpe di Siusi, the Vallunga in Val Gardena, the cross-country ski trails in Funes as well in Valles Rio Pusteria.

Ski touring

Both sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike can conquer the breathtaking mountains on skis. The feeling of standing at the summit after a strenuous ascent and just gazing out into the distance to recharge your batteries is simply priceless. With the right weather conditions and adequate equipment, your ski tour in the Dolomites will be a real alpine delight.

Christmas markets

It's finally that time of year again! When the excitement is almost unbearable and the scent of freshly baked gingerbread and mulled wine wafts out of our houses, Christmas will soon be around the corner. Visit us in the run-up to Christmas and be enchanted by the magic of what is probably the most beautiful time of the year at the traditional Christmas markets in the area. You’re sure to find some unique gifts for your loved ones at the Christmas markets in the cities of Bressanone, Chiusa, Vipiteno or Bolzano, as well as in neighbouring villages.

All-year-round experience

Let your senses run free. In summer, you can enjoy the magical view of the magnificent mountain scenery, which acquires a stunning soft pink hue as the days come to an end. Explore a wide range hiking trails in autumn, when the colourful leaves make an exciting crunch under your feet as you wander past numerous wine taverns. In winter, you can visit a variety of Christmas markets in the nearby towns and cities, which will put a twinkle in the eye of visitors of any age. Skiing, winter hiking and much more is also waiting for you. And once the last snow melts, the faint rays of the spring sun lure the first crocuses out of the meadows as nature reawakens to the happy twittering of birds, offering new opportunities for holidaymakers of all ages.
