Holiday apartments in Velturno in the sunny Valle Isarco

Stay at Kerschbaumer Apartments in an incredible panoramic setting for a dream holiday in South Tyrol at any time of the year.

Andreas and Lidia and their children Alex, Lorena and Damian welcome you to the Kerschbaumer family. Grandparents Franz and Barbara are also on hand to take care of guests, and Grandpa Franz looks after the impressive vegetable garden. Herbs and vegetables are available free of charge, and there is a wood-fired grill in the garden for barbecues. Our range of excursions on offer make for a varied holiday while the cosy apartments and sauna ensure plenty of opportunities for relaxation.
Our house is located in Velturno on the sunny side of the Valle Isarco/Eisack Valley in a fully panoramic position at an altitude of 950 m. We are surrounded by meadows on the edge of an idyllic chestnut forest and only 1 km from the village centre. Here, guests can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the Dolomites, the Odle peaks and the Sciliar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Kerschbaumer guest house is an ideal starting point for a variety of activities. Explore the high alpine pastures and mountain peaks of Velturno and the surrounding area with a stop off at one of the many cosy alpine huts. The well-known chestnut trail “Keschtnweg” leads right past our house, the medieval town of Chiusa is just 10 minutes away by car and the episcopal city of Bressanone is only 8 km away.

Enjoy an unforgettable and relaxing holiday. Share a bottle of South Tyrolean wine on the sunny terrace, relax in the sauna after a hike in the South Tyrolean mountains or experience local culture in the region’s many museums and castles.

We look forward to getting to know you!

Let your senses run free. In summer, you can enjoy the magical view of the magnificent mountain scenery, which acquires a stunning soft pink hue as the days come to an end. Explore a wide range hiking trails in autumn, when the colourful leaves make an exciting crunch under your feet as you wander past numerous wine taverns. In winter, you can visit a variety of Christmas markets in the nearby towns and cities, which will put a twinkle in the eye of visitors of any age. Skiing, winter hiking and much more is also waiting for you. And once the last snow melts, the faint rays of the spring sun lure the first crocuses out of the meadows as nature reawakens to the happy twittering of birds, offering new opportunities for holidaymakers of all ages.
